I taught myself guitar while studying screenwriting in college, but once I discovered the world of songwriting, it completely consumed me. After graduating, I found myself back in my hometown - the eccentric and musical city of Austin, TX - where I plunged head first into music and began chasing my newly discovered dream. I branded myself as a wedding singer and began a business to support my artistry.Shortly after, my passion and driven pursuits landed me a Blind Audition on NBC's hit show, The Voice. Although the journey has ended, I'm more excited than ever to see where this new adventure leads me and what new opportunities await on the other side. My family is a key part of who I am and I would do anything for them. You need a kidney? You got it. Need bail money? I'm there. I grew up to the mantra “positive vibes only” and after seeing my uncle conquer stage 4 cancer and utter this saying every step of the way, it became a genuine part of who I am. As an individual, I pride myself in spreading authenticity, truth, positive vibes, and love to everyone I interact with. The same is true for my music. I want nothing more than to share my voice and my stories with the world. I makes time for silliness, song, and creativity, because I believe life is too short and the world too serious for me not to share my own brand of positive vibes and artistry with the world as if they were my family.
